An interesting Bordeaux blend from the McLaren Vale. Nose seemed quite enjoyable with good, dark fruit flavours; Cabernet character present but not too obvious. Palate however was quite a disappointment; harsh, unnatural acidity was just too pronounced. Causing the wine to be out-of-balance. Most if it ended up deglazing the pan to make a sauce for the steak.
